The Sailor

Who’s sailing? It could be me (as an atmospheric scientist), or civilization as a whole. Compared to the surface of the Earth, which consists of 70% water and 30% land, we are so tiny, yet eye-catching. The layer of clouds in the middle, formed by evaporation from the ocean, is atmospheric scientists’ favorite.
